The William B. Ward Elementary School and Ward PTA would like to invite you and your organization to participate in this year’s 2019 Readathon as a sponsor. Ward Elementary School is a New Rochelle K-5 public school.

Every year, the students are challenged to read as many minutes as they can wile raising money for their school. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. EVERY student participates in this event. Last year students read over 2 MILLION minutes and raised over $50,000. This could not have been accomplished without our community members inspiring students to read and to sponsor them with fundraising.

The money raised by the Read-A-thon allows:

• each teacher to have extra funds to enhance their classroom

• Special projects that are not covered by school budgets, such as an outdoor learning space

• Enrichment materials for math, art, science and music to be provided to all students

There are various levels of sponsorship for our annual event. We hope that your company will consider and sponsorship that will help our great Ward students!
